Cabo Del Sol
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Cabo Del Sol offers
spectacular desert landscaping and sweeping ocean views, stretching
along one mile of breathtaking pristine coastline and dramatic desert.
Situated on 1,800 acres and two miles of ocean
front, the 18 hole Jack Nicklaus signature ocean course offers strategically
placed bunkers and will 'test' players of every level.
A new second course, the Cabo del Sol Desert
Course, was designed by Tom Weiskopf. This new course spreads across
140 acres of gently rolling desert terrain with a minimum of four,
and sometimes five, sets of tees on each hole. In its first year
of operation Cabo del Sol debuted on Golf magazine's list of 'Top
100 Courses in the World' ranking 70th. Jack Nicklaus Cabo del Sol
'the most spectacular golf course property on earth'.
Cabo Real Resort
It is situated midway along the coastal corridor,
halfway between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas at the Melia Cabo Real
Hotel. Designed and built by the Robert Trent Jones team, the Cabo
Real Golf Resort features an 18 hole course to provide a varietal
challenge for golf enthusiasts.
The first 18 holes of the championship Cabo Real
Golf Course are laid out over more than 7,000 yards. Designed by
Robert Trent Jones Jr., with its numerous sand traps and arroyos,
the course provides a real challenge for low handicap golfers but
is still great fun for beginners. Cabo Real Golf Course is a spectacular
example of the art of designing and building a truly challenging
golf course.
El Dorado
El Dorado is a signature course designed by Jack
Nicklaus. The master designer created a wild desert course that
skirts along the ocean. Breakers are crashing just a few feet away
from six of the greens. This is the newest and most beautiful of
all the Cabo courses, featuring a challenging layout with six oceanfront
holes on the Sea of Cortez and the remaining twelve holes carved
out in 2 pristine canyons with beautiful trees, cacti and rock formations.
It is a wonderful challenge to the physical and mental aspects of
your game.
Palmilla Course
The first Jack Nicklaus signature course in Mexico
is at home on the lush 900 acres of the oceanfront Palmilla. Nature
has provided the unique setting for this breathtaking championship
course with desert, ocean, and mountain views. The jewel of this
project is the world renowned Hotel Palmilla.
Palmilla offers golfers spectacular views of the
Sea o Cortèz from nearly every hole as it winds through centuries
old cardon cacti and rugged desert mountain terrain. The course
is divided into the 3,337-yard Arroyo Nine, the 3,602-yard Mountain
Nine and the 3,548-yard Ocean Nine. The five sets of staggered tee
boxes ensure golfers, from beginners to professionals, an exciting
game.
Raven Golf Club at Cabo San Lucas
The Resort Group and Cabo San Lucas Country Club
are proud to announce a newly formed partnership with North America's
premier resort development company, Intrawest Corporation. The Cabo
San Lucas Country Club is now the Raven Golf Club at Cabo San Lucas.
Originally designed by Pete Dye, this impressive
course and country club features a clubhouse with pro shop, restaurant
and tennis courts. This challenging championship golf course features
Dye's characteristic waste bunkers and nine sparkling lakes.
The beautiful Raven Golf Club at Cabo San Lucas
is open to the public and is the only course in Los Cabos located
close enough to town for a reasonable taxi ride.
CAMPO DE GOLF FONATUR
The San José Municipal Campo de Golf offers players
at all levels some of the most interesting golf in Los Cabos, the
course maintains competitive and affordable prices. The nine hole
2,900 yard course was built by the Mexican governments FONATUR development
agency, which maintain it beautifully. Designed for intermediate
and beginning golfers, this is a great course for the entire family
to play in a pleasant atmosphere.
